THE LANDSCAPE.
The farm is located on a vast hilly area, where nature, still a short distance from the great metropolitan extension of the capital, is the absolute protagonist.
For those who are not familiar with this territory and its landscape, it will be a pleasant discovery to immerse themselves in the gentle forms of the hills and their many shades of green.Situated on the border between the municipality of Colonna, the smallest in extension of the Castelli Romani, and the municipality of Zagarolo, one can glimpse the Castelli Romani on one side and the Prenestini Mountains on the other.
Fantastic is its privileged view from which it is possible to enjoy the landscape of Rome in the distance and its beautiful sunsets
THE VINEYARDS.
The estate located 350 meters above sea level, covers about 30 hectares, 7 of which are treated as vineyards. The vineyards, alternating with the original peach orchards and modern Kiwi plantations, present a landscape rich in nuances and colors in the different seasons, enriching, in addition, with aromas and scents, its grapes.The hilly constitution and exposure of the land contribute to determine an airy and bright environment. The soil presents excellent characteristics for quality viticulture, also accomplice is the microclimate that allows the grapes to ripen slowly and completely, contributing significantly to the organoleptic and aromatic qualities of our wine.The clusters, caressed by the sun and lapped by the beneficial influences of the wind, ripen in a healthy and harmonious way, preserving all their aromatic charge. The strongly mineral soil constitutes a rich nutritious texture that brings the right sapidity and elegance to the final product.The search for new techniques and innovation, applied to cultivation systems, have been complemented by agronomic practices with low environmental impact, respecting the fertility and preservation of the soil.Our goal is to always aim for innovation while respecting the authenticity of the product, making sure that every scent, smell, aroma reaches the palate with pleasantness and genuineness.
